Our client seeks a Reservoir Engineer to oversee reservoir evaluation, simulation, and performance analysis initiatives.
This position demands advanced technical proficiency in reservoir engineering, practical experience with reservoir modeling software, and the capacity to facilitate effective field development and production optimization.
Oversee a comprehensive range of tasks encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation to ensure organizational objectives are met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and quality standards across all departments. Lead cross-functional teams through clear communication, delegation, and mentorship, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines while maintaining accountability for results and resource allocation.
Perform reservoir performance assessments, execute simulation studies, and develop forecasting models to enhance production optimization efforts.
Develop and maintain accurate reservoir models utilizing Petrel and other pertinent engineering software tools.
Analyze geological and production data to assess reservoir performance and determine optimal recovery methods.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance field development planning and drive operational efficiency.
Monitor reservoir performance and evaluate potential enhancements to optimize hydrocarbon recovery strategies.
Compile detailed technical reports, perform reserve estimates, and generate production forecasts.
Ensure adherence to established industry standards, safety protocols, and optimal operational procedures.
Key qualifications include a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical training. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards is highly desirable.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field of engineering is required.
We seek candidates with a minimum of eight to ten years of hands-on experience in reservoir engineering.
Mandatory qualification includes demonstrated proficiency in Petrel software.
Proficiency in reservoir simulation, field development strategies, and production optimization techniques is essential.
Possesses a demonstrated capability to evaluate reservoir data and deliver precise technical recommendations.
Exceptional proficiency in analytical reasoning, problem resolution, and interpersonal communication is required.
Professional certifications and relevant industry training are highly beneficial.
