This position collaborates with the commercial team to oversee project cost management, performance metrics, valuation processes, and subcontractor coordination for ongoing road construction projects.
The ideal candidate will manage quantity take-offs, perform site measurements, provide interim valuation support, track variations, assist with subcontractor payments, and prepare cost reports, all under the guidance of the Senior Project Quantity Surveyor.
We seek a candidate who meets the following criteria: a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. Strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision are essential. Additionally, the ideal applicant should demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork capabilities, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Quantity Surveying is required for this position.
With over eight years of specialized expertise in Quantity Surveying practice, the ideal candidate will have extensive involvement in road or civil infrastructure projects.
Professional Experience Required in Measurement, Preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and Valuation Assistance.
Professionals should possess demonstrated expertise in certifying subcontractor payments and effectively managing variations to ensure compliance and financial accuracy throughout project execution.
Proficiency in cost reporting and project commercial control principles is required.
Proficient in analyzing engineering drawings to extract critical measurement data.
NILS registration or eligibility for candidate membership represents a notable advantage.
