Role Description
The Product Manager Tutor will support and mentor individuals seeking to advance in product management through online instruction, curated learning materials, and personalized feedback. Responsibilities involve designing and delivering structured lesson plans, facilitating interactive virtual training sessions, assessing student progress, and continuously updating course content to align with current industry standards.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in software development or a comparable role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is required, along with experience with databases, APIs, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams are essential. The ideal applicant should demonstrate a track record of delivering high-quality solutions while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
Demonstrates a solid grasp of core product management concepts, the complete product lifecycle, and agile frameworks.
Proficiency in project management platforms like JIRA, Trello, or Asana is required.
Demonstrates strong expertise in conducting customer research, performing thorough market analysis, and leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Required are strong interpersonal, public speaking, and coaching capabilities to facilitate effective team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Developed and delivered a variety of instructional materials within a virtual learning platform, demonstrating expertise in digital education strategies and remote teaching techniques.
Capable of fostering enthusiasm, driving learner participation, and instilling inspiration in educational settings.
Proficiency in technology product development, coupled with prior involvement in teaching, training, or mentoring initiatives, would be advantageous.
A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in product management is required.
