Job Summary:
The Senior Project Risk Engineer undertakes the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks spanning every stage of large-scale construction and infrastructure initiatives, commencing with initial design and extending through construction, commissioning, and final verification.
This position is responsible for creating and sustaining robust risk management frameworks and registers, performing both qualitative and quantitative risk evaluations—including Monte Carlo simulations—and delivering strategic recommendations to address risks associated with scope, schedule, cost, resource allocation, quality, and regulatory compliance.
This role involves working closely with project teams, the PMO, and stakeholders to proactively identify risks, develop and implement strategic responses, and ensure projects are delivered successfully and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities & Duties Include:
Spearheading the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth and efficiency. Develop tailored Risk Management tools promptly in response to newly identified project threats.
Engage diligently in all Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSE) programs, including daily, weekly, and monthly initiatives.
Attend scheduled meetings focused on departmental and project advancements to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Ensure all unsafe work practices and behaviors are promptly identified, addressed, and documented.
Ensures the successful execution and compliance with Occupational Health & Safety policies.
