Job Summary

In this role as Asset & Liability Manager, you will oversee liquidity management, balance sheet risk mitigation, and strategic financial initiatives aimed at driving profitability.

Oversee and execute a variety of critical duties to ensure operational efficiency, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high standards of quality. Handle client communications professionally, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to foster strong relationships. Monitor progress against established benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources, streamline processes, and achieve organizational objectives. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while maintaining meticulous documentation and reporting.

Oversee the administration of asset and liability portfolios while mitigating liquidity risks to ensure financial stability and optimal resource allocation.

Support the trading desk’s operational functions and contribute to the development and execution of financial strategy.

Evaluate and assess potential risks associated with interest rate fluctuations and balance sheet stability to ensure prudent financial management.

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and generate detailed reports to support strategic decision-making processes.

Develop and implement robust risk mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational assets and minimize potential threats.

Seeking a highly organized professional with exceptional attention to detail, proficient in project management software and capable of managing multiple deadlines efficiently. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or finance, and a minimum of three years of relevant work experience. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is required. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.

Minimum of seven years of dedicated experience in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) or treasury functions is required.

Proficiency in liquidity and risk management is essential, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and implement robust strategies to mitigate potential risks.

Professional certification, including designations such as ICAN or an MBA, is considered an asset.
