JOB SUMMARY:
The project accountant will oversee the seamless integration of accounts into the designated accounting system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the implementation process.
Skilled in accurately documenting a company’s trading activities and effectively integrating them into a system to establish an authentic trading position. Proficient in analyzing Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statements, General Ledger, aged debtors reports, and other financial documents while ensuring the verification of the complete chart of accounts.
Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential.
Capable of collaborating with and guiding a team of accounting professionals.
Facilitates the execution of a range of critical duties with precision and accountability, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. Responsible for performing key tasks in alignment with organizational objectives, while maintaining a high level of efficiency and attention to detail. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining comprehensive ledgers encompassing assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and equity to deliver precise financial insights to management. This role involves accurately recording transactions, ensuring compliance with established accounting standards, and providing timely reports that support strategic decision-making.
Proficiency in overseeing and auditing creditors’ and debtors’ ledgers is essential to ensure accuracy and financial integrity.

With a minimum of two to three years of professional experience, candidates should have actively contributed to the core functions of the accounts department, demonstrating a pivotal role in daily operations.
An ARCA or ACA accountancy qualification would be highly beneficial.
