Job Summary
We require a diligent and alert Security Personnel to safeguard our facilities, valuable assets, and staff.
The successful candidate will uphold a strong presence, deter unauthorized entry, and safeguard personnel and guests by conducting regular patrols, overseeing surveillance systems, and addressing any incidents promptly.
Oversee and manage all aspects of daily operations to ensure seamless workflow efficiency and adherence to established protocols. Execute strategic planning initiatives aimed at optimizing productivity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align objectives, resolve challenges, and drive organizational success. Develop and implement robust policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for enhancement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Lead training programs and professional development opportunities to cultivate a skilled and motivated workforce. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring clear, consistent communication across all levels of the organization.
Monitor and control access for employees, visitors, and other individuals to prevent theft and ensure the protection of facility assets and premises.
To conduct surveillance of industrial and commercial properties, monitoring for any indications of unauthorized access and safeguarding doors, windows, and gates to maintain overall security.
Handle alarms and address disturbances promptly upon activation.
Prepare detailed reports documenting daily activities as well as any irregularities encountered, including equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized individuals, or unusual incidents.
Operate detection equipment to screen individuals and prevent prohibited items from entering restricted zones.
Ensure the supervision and regulation of entry points, including building entrances and vehicle gates, to maintain security and control access effectively.
Monitor security systems, including alarms and surveillance cameras, and control detection and emergency response equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prompt incident resolution.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, offering immediate assistance to both employees and customers as needed.
Implement and adhere to established protocols for a range of initiatives, such as fire prevention, property patrol, access control, and accident investigations.
Requirements
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required for this position.
Requires demonstrated expertise in security-related roles, including but not limited to positions such as security guards. Prior experience in safeguarding environments is essential.
Proven expertise in public safety and security protocols and procedures is essential.
Possesses strong attention to detail and keen observational abilities essential for effective surveillance activities.
A commitment to ethical conduct and a high standard of professional behavior is essential.
Able to remain physically active for prolonged durations, whether standing or walking, and perform physical interventions on an occasional basis when required.
Preferred commute distance to the workplace is a key consideration.
