Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively. Serve as the primary liaison between senior management and departmental teams, facilitating seamless communication and alignment of goals across all levels of the organization. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Lead cross-functional initiatives, fostering collaboration and innovation to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Proactively explore and cultivate emerging business prospects within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
Develop business by cultivating new client relationships through strategic cold calling initiatives, targeted networking engagements, and proactive field visits.
Cultivate and sustain robust connections with potential and current clients.
Skilled professionals are needed to actively market the company’s freight forwarding services to prospective clients.
Assists in the development of proposals and the finalization of sales agreements to secure new business opportunities.
Prepare periodic reports summarizing sales performance metrics and customer market feedback for timely review and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
A minimum qualification of Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Social Sciences is required.
Professional experience is not a prerequisite, as comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills.
Proficient in communication and interpersonal interactions, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
Eagerness to continually develop skills and advance within a fast-paced, sales-focused organization.
Proficient in utilizing computers and associated software applications is essential. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, email systems, and internet navigation is required. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and digital tools is a must. Basic troubleshooting skills for common hardware and software issues are expected.
