Purpose of the Position

The Safeguarding Officer will spearhead technical guidance and strategic supervision in safeguarding and child protection initiatives, ensuring robust frameworks are in place to mitigate risks and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Ensuring prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) and maintaining ethical community engagement are integral components throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

The officer is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to safeguarding policies and standards among all project staff, volunteers, consultants, partners, and stakeholders. Additionally, they will foster the implementation of safe and inclusive programming across all intervention communities.
