Job Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor will oversee front-of-house operations, manage staff coordination, uphold service excellence, and ensure seamless daily restaurant functionality.
The successful applicant should demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities and possess relevant experience in a restaurant environment, ideally within an Indian or upscale dining establishment.
Key accountabilities include managing project timelines and ensuring deliverables meet established quality standards. The role encompasses overseeing team collaboration to foster a productive work environment and identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities also involve liaising with stakeholders to align project objectives with business goals and providing regular progress updates. Additionally, the position requires conducting performance evaluations and addressing any challenges to maintain project momentum.
Oversee the performance and coordination of waitstaff and front-of-house personnel, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to operational standards.
Maintain the highest standards of customer service excellence at all times.
Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring each issue is addressed promptly and to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
Oversee the daily management of restaurant operations and ensure the effective organization of shift schedules.
Oversee staff performance to ensure adherence to discipline and grooming standards.
Facilitate seamless coordination and exchange of information between the kitchen and service teams to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure strict adherence to established restaurant policies and service protocols at all times to maintain operational excellence and consistency in guest experiences.
Requirements
A minimum qualification of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) is required.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of two to four years in a leadership position within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Proficiency in an Indian restaurant or comparable fine dining environment is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and coordinate group efforts seamlessly.
Demonstrates exceptional aptitude for engaging with customers and conveying information with clarity and professionalism.
Capable of performing under pressure while efficiently overseeing shift operations.
