Perform detailed topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys essential to construction projects.
Establish reference points, grids, and benchmarks by interpreting architectural and engineering drawings to ensure accurate alignment and measurement for construction or surveying activities.
Proficiently manage and sustain surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS devices, and Auto Levels to ensure accurate data collection and operational efficiency.
Compile comprehensive survey reports, technical drawings, and data sheets with precision and clarity.
Partner with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to maintain consistency with design plans throughout project execution.
Ensure that vertical and horizontal alignments are verified throughout excavation, foundation installation, and structural construction phases.
Ensure that all surveying activities adhere to established safety and quality protocols at all times.
Ensure survey records are maintained with precision and project databases are updated diligently.
Requirement
A minimum of six to nine years of hands-on experience in land surveying within construction projects—specifically building or civil works—is required.
Seeking candidates with an HND or BSC degree in Geoinformatics, Surveying, or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in operating Total Station, GPS equipment, AutoCAD, and specialized survey software.
Professional registration with the Council of Nigerian Registered Engineers (CORE) or affiliation with the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (IS) is considered a valuable asset.
Proficient in analyzing and comprehending construction drawings and blueprints.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving methodologies.
