The Regional Store Coordinator will collaborate closely with the operations team in Nigeria to ensure the organization maintains sufficient capacity for establishing new business units and scaling existing operations across the region.
The position is a permanent, full-time role based onsite in Nigeria, reporting directly to the Zonal Store Manager for the Lagos Zone.
What you would be expected to do
Oversee inventory control across the warehouse, documenting incoming goods and tracking stock levels at the regional facility.
Collaborate with external shipping providers to ensure the timely and safe delivery of merchandise to Sun King retail outlets.
To maintain cost efficiency for all shipments to Sun King Stores, leverage third-party transporters contracted with the Company.
Responsible for systematically recording Sun King inventory entries and exits on a recurring schedule.
Liaise with the central warehouse at headquarters to facilitate the receipt of incoming stock.
Notify management promptly of any inventory shortages, theft incidents, or losses occurring within the regional warehouse.
Compile weekly inventory reports detailing current stock levels for each shop within the region and ensure these reports are accessible to the Country Store Manager.
Monitor the performance and conduct of store executives across the region to verify adherence to legal standards and uphold the store’s stability and reputation.
Maintain consistent adherence to shop etiquette and cleanliness standards across all locations within the designated region.
All incoming defective items received at retail locations are to be collected and subsequently transported back to the headquarters for processing.
Conduct monthly and quarterly physical inventory counts at retail store locations.
Ensure proper processes are followed by Sun King Store Executives (SSEs) in the respective regions
The Regional Specialists should be thoroughly acquainted with their respective responsibilities and roles within the designated region.
Verify and validate the weekly inventory and marketing reports for the region, subsequently compiling and forwarding the consolidated findings to the HQ Ops team.
Train Store Sales Executives (SSE’s) at their respective locations as required to ensure competency and alignment with company standards.
Substitute for SSE’s during their absence due to personal or medical leave.
Conduct thorough investigations into any discrepancies in stock levels or unaccounted variances at the store, taking appropriate action as needed. If required, coordinate with store staff to ensure police reports are filed to document any instances of theft or loss.
A suitable applicant may demonstrate exceptional qualifications if they possess the following attributes.
A recognized institution must confer either a Bachelor’s degree or a Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field.
A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in procurement and supply or inventory management within a multinational organization is required.
Show strong capabilities in decision-making, interpersonal interactions, communication, public speaking, and report preparation.
Results-driven professional capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
A collaborative professional who excels at building and sustaining strong, productive relationships with diverse stakeholders is sought for this role.
Possesses strong proficiency in advanced computer applications, including expertise in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to leverage its features for data analysis, reporting, and automation tasks.
Professional candidates should possess hands-on experience with ERP systems and additional inventory management applications.
