To perform routine maintenance inspections, oversee operations, and monitor production machinery, ensuring seamless and efficient functionality to maintain continuous factory operations.
Responsibilities
Operate production machinery in adherence to established standard operating procedures, maintaining efficiency and precision throughout manufacturing processes.
Design and execute a structured preventive and corrective maintenance program to sustain machinery performance at peak levels and mitigate the risk of unplanned downtime.
Diagnose and resolve minor mechanical malfunctions in a timely manner to reduce equipment downtime and sustain uninterrupted production operations.
Maintain comprehensive logs of all maintenance-related tasks—such as repairs, component replacements, and inspections—to ensure precise tracking of machine performance, streamline troubleshooting processes, and enable data-driven decision-making for optimized maintenance strategies and operational effectiveness.
Maintain precise documentation of production activities, including material usage and wastage, as well as machine performance metrics and operational issues, and provide these reports to supervisors for review.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required for consideration. Minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role is necessary. Proficiency with industry-standard software and tools is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are critical. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment is expected. Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements is advantageous. Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity is preferred. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development is highly valued.
Professional candidates must hold an Ordinary National Diploma in Engineering, supported by 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
