SUMMARY OF POSITION: This role requires an experienced professional capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality results efficiently. The Regional Admissions Representative will oversee the recruitment and enrollment of qualified students across the North Central Region of Nigeria, including Kara, Kofi, Niger, Benue, Plateau, the FCT, and any additional states assigned by the Director. This role involves delivering admissions and enrollment guidance to prospective and newly admitted students, representing the university at secondary schools and educational events, and ensuring prompt and accurate follow-up on inquiries. Key responsibilities include managing applications efficiently, coordinating admissions testing, obtaining required student credentials, and communicating final decisions to relevant individuals in strict adherence to the university’s policies and procedures.

We seek a candidate to fulfill the following duties: overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with cross-functional departments, addressing customer inquiries, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The successful applicant will also be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, analyzing data to drive decision-making, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Proficiency in relevant software, strong communication skills, and a minimum of three years in a similar position are required.

Host informational sessions designed to engage prospective students and their families, providing them with key insights and guidance about the institution.

Review academic credentials and applications comprehensively to assess qualification for admission eligibility.

Attend college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events to actively engage with prospective students and promote institutional opportunities.

Consistently engage with potential students via telephone, electronic correspondence, and various social media platforms to ensure timely and informative interactions.

Work collaboratively with various departments to guarantee a smooth and efficient admissions process.

Support the creation and execution of recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent effectively.

Deliver tailored guidance to applicants and their parents concerning admission prerequisites and available financial aid opportunities.

Evaluate and manage admission applications along with their accompanying documentation.

Ensure meticulous documentation of all student interactions and maintain up-to-date records regarding their application statuses.

Leverage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to efficiently oversee and document recruitment-related processes.

Maintain consistent and thorough follow-up with prospects and admitted students to facilitate their progression through the admissions and enrollment process.

Prepare reports as needed or requested by AUN departments or administration via the Director of Undergraduate Admissions or the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs.

Assist the Director or AVP with any additional tasks or responsibilities as required.

Applicants must meet the following criteria for consideration: a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role, proficiency in industry-standard software, and strong problem-solving abilities. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team-driven environment. Familiarity with project management methodologies and a commitment to continuous learning are also essential. Prior experience in a leadership position is preferred but not mandatory.

A bachelor’s degree in Humanities or a related field from an accredited university is required, with a master’s degree considered advantageous.

Seeking candidates with 1 to 3 years of postings experience in a comparable or relevant role.

Professional experience in university admissions, recruitment, or student services would be beneficial.

Efficiently managing multiple priorities is a key strength, supported by exceptional organizational capabilities.

Proficient in both written and spoken English, along with fluency in a local dialect, is essential.

Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to optimize workflow processes and cultivate client interactions.
