This is a full-time, on-site position as Branch Manager stationed in Bubba, involving close coordination with teams across Calabar and other regional offices.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for directing daily branch operations, with a focus on deposit mobilization, loan processing, and robust portfolio and risk management.

The position will oversee branch teams in meeting performance goals while delivering outstanding customer service to microfinance clients and small businesses.

The Branch Manager will oversee branch financial performance, foster growth in customer accounts and loan portfolios, and uphold adherence to banking regulations, internal policies, and audit standards.

The role encompasses fostering community involvement, conducting market outreach initiatives, and cultivating robust partnerships with customers, local enterprises, and community groups to enhance the branch’s visibility and influence.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification strongly preferred. Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience, including expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and industry-specific regulations is advantageous. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Experienced professionals with a demonstrated history in branch management, microfinance operations, or retail banking, and a proven ability to drive portfolio growth while maintaining high quality standards, are sought for this role.

Proficient in microfinance products, credit evaluation methodologies, debt recovery strategies, and effective risk mitigation frameworks.
