KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement Civic Education lessons that fully align with established curriculum standards.
Encourage students to embrace civic duty, embody core values, and deepen their understanding of national identity.
Evaluate students’ academic development and deliver insightful, actionable feedback to support their improvement.
Tailor instructional approaches to accommodate varied learning preferences and requirements, ensuring inclusive and effective educational experiences for all students.
Facilitate comprehensive preparation for both WAEC examinations and internal assessments to ensure students achieve academic success.
Ensure a structured and disciplined learning environment within the classroom.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential. Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git, is also required. Additionally, excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are highly valued.
A bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Civic Education, or a closely related discipline is required.
A valid teaching certification in the applicable subject or grade level may be required for consideration.
Possesses exceptional interpersonal abilities and the capacity to effectively manage classroom dynamics.
Capable of inspiring and encouraging students to actively participate and maintain enthusiasm for learning.
Candidates possessing TRCN certification will be given preferential consideration.
