Job Summary

We are in search of a proactive and outcome-focused Van Sales Representative to expand and nurture our customer base across designated territories. The successful applicant will be tasked with boosting sales performance, cultivating enduring customer connections, and delivering products directly to clients via a company vehicle.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met with precision. Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures that enhance efficiency, compliance, and performance across departments. Foster collaboration and communication among stakeholders to drive cohesive decision-making and project execution. Manage resources, budgets, and timelines to optimize productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability. Lead initiatives that support innovation, growth, and continuous improvement within the role’s scope.

Prospect for new clients and manage day-to-day sales operations to drive revenue growth.

Consistently meet and exceed sales targets established for daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual periods by driving revenue growth and maintaining high performance standards.

Proactively engage with potential clients, including retailers, wholesalers, and supermarkets, to expand the customer base and establish new business relationships.

Deliver and sell products directly to customers utilizing the company vehicle.

Devote sustained effort to cultivating and deepening ongoing partnerships with current clients to ensure their continued satisfaction and loyalty.

Deliver comprehensive market intelligence and produce detailed competitor analysis reports to support strategic decision-making processes.

Guarantee accurate merchandising and visually appealing product presentation at all customer sites.

Maintain precise documentation of sales transactions, payment records, and inventory levels to ensure organizational transparency and operational efficiency.

Properly manage and securely store inventory within the vehicle to uphold safety protocols and maintain product integrity.

The position necessitates a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in project management software, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, are essential for interacting with stakeholders and presenting findings clearly. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is required, as is the capacity to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred but not mandatory.

A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, or an equivalent field is required.

A valid driver’s license and LASER (Lagos State Residents Registration Agency) ID are required.

Requires a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sales.

Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or surpassing sales objectives.

Comprehensive understanding of local thoroughfares within the designated territories is required.

Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively, coupled with adept negotiation capabilities, is essential for success in this role.

Demonstrates strong self-motivation and excels in organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.

Proficient in operating computers and navigating Android-based devices with ease.

Fluency in English and one or more regional languages is required.

Proficient in numerical analysis and meticulous record management are essential requirements for this position.
