This position collaborates with the commercial team to oversee project cost control, performance metrics, valuation processes, and subcontractor coordination for ongoing road construction projects.

The ideal candidate will prepare quantity take-offs, conduct site measurements, provide interim valuation support, track variations, assist with subcontractor payments, and generate cost reports under the guidance of the Senior Project Quantity Surveyor.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a related field, demonstrating expertise in both technical and operational domains. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools is essential, along with a strong foundation in industry-specific regulations and best practices. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, the ideal applicant will exhibit exceptional problem-solving abilities, adaptability to evolving business needs, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent Higher National Diploma (HND) qualification is required.

Senior professionals with over eight years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying, specifically within road or civil infrastructure development projects, are encouraged to apply.

Proven expertise in measurement procedures, meticulous preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and comprehensive valuation support services is essential.

Professionals should possess practical expertise in verifying subcontractor payments and administering variation management.

Possesses a fundamental understanding of cost reporting processes and project commercial control methodologies.

Proficient in analyzing engineering drawings to accurately determine measurements.

NILS registration or pending membership constitutes a beneficial qualification for consideration.
