Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver is tasked with transporting and delivering the company’s gas products to customers along a predetermined route, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
Oversee and execute critical duties including the management of daily operations, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency across teams. Lead project planning, coordination, and execution while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. Monitor performance metrics and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative work environment that prioritizes innovation, accountability, and professional growth. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards at all times.
Ensure the timely delivery of gas products to customers while fostering strong, positive relationships with each client.
Deliver comprehensive product knowledge and offer responsive technical assistance to customers as required.
Deliver products punctually using the delivery van, ensuring the vehicle remains clean and fully operational throughout each route.
Assist operators in loading gas cylinders onto vehicles efficiently and safely.
Oversee the van inventory, perform daily stock reconciliations, and document any discrepancies for further review.
Accurately document sales activities, track customer interactions, and maintain detailed delivery records.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in software development or a comparable role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in database management and system architecture. Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment are required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, version control systems like Git, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
Minimum qualification includes 1–2 years of relevant experience in delivery or driving roles.
A valid driver’s license in good standing with an impeccable driving history is required.
Proficiency in operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles, with a particular emphasis on mini buses and vans, is essential.
