We are seeking a responsible professional to operate company vehicles for the secure transportation of staff, visitors, materials, and documents as directed.
Guarantee punctual collection and delivery of passengers and shipments.
Perform rigorous daily vehicle inspections to verify that all vehicles remain in optimal operational condition.
Promptly report any vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance requirements as they arise.
Oversee the meticulous upkeep of vehicle logbooks, ensuring precise documentation of mileage and fuel consumption metrics.
Maintain vehicles in pristine, operational condition at all times through consistent cleanliness and adherence to maintenance protocols.
Ensure full compliance with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and established company driving policies at all times.
Provide support for vehicle registration, licensing processes, and the coordination of routine servicing schedules.
Provide assistance with logistics and administrative functions as needed.
Demonstrate professionalism, maintain strict confidentiality, and uphold courteous behavior in all job-related interactions and tasks.
Seeking a highly motivated individual with at least three years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably backed by a degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is essential. Additionally, the candidate must exhibit a proven track record of meeting deadlines, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to evolving project demands.
A high school diploma or its equivalent, such as SSC, WAEC, NECK, or GCE, is required.
A valid Nigerian driver’s license must be held, and the driving record should remain unblemished.
A minimum of three years of demonstrated driving experience, ideally within a corporate or manufacturing setting, is required.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Proficient in performing routine vehicle maintenance inspections to ensure operational reliability and safety.
Maintains a high level of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism in all duties and interactions.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with strong interpersonal competencies, are essential for this role.
Capable of adapting to varied schedules and accommodating flexible working hours as needed.
Proficiency in local and interstate routes is highly desirable.
