Job Summary

The ideal candidate will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

Processing customer payments, including cash, point-of-sale (POS), transfers, and other authorized methods, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions.

Diligently documenting each sales transaction and providing receipts as required.

Responsibilities include managing cash registers, POS terminals, and other payment processing systems with precision and efficiency.

Responsible for maintaining accurate cash drawer balances and conducting end-of-shift reconciliation of daily sales.

Responsibilities include ensuring precise documentation of all transactions and compiling daily sales reports with meticulous attention to detail.

Providing support to customers by addressing questions related to menu options, pricing details, and transaction processes.

Verifying that every transaction is executed in strict adherence to established company policies and procedures.

Promptly escalate any discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious activities to senior management without delay for immediate review and resolution.

Ensuring the cashier’s workstation remains tidy and well-organized at all times is essential to maintaining efficient operations and providing excellent customer service.

Collaborating effectively with kitchen and service personnel to maintain seamless customer service operations.

Supporting inventory and stock monitoring tasks as needed.

Maintaining the confidentiality and safeguarding of cash assets and sensitive financial data.

Duties may include performing other tasks as required by management to assist with canteen operations.

Candidates must satisfy the following prerequisites and possess the necessary qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related discipline, is essential. Prior experience in a similar role is required, with a minimum of three years in a comparable position strongly preferred. Proficiency in industry-standard software tools and platforms is mandatory, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with project management methodologies and agile frameworks is advantageous. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines is critical. Additionally, certification in a specialized area, such as PMP or Scrum, is a plus.

Minimum qualification includes an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), accompanied by 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
