To provide support to the Senior Production Operator in executing all process operations and maintenance tasks.
Special Duties and Obligations:
This role entails a range of critical tasks, including but not limited to overseeing project timelines, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining high standards of professional conduct. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, managing stakeholder expectations, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. Perform process and maintenance duties diligently and safely while strictly adhering to Company HSEQ policies and industrial standards.
Responsible for initiating, ceasing, and operating production equipment during standard conditions, as well as executing emergency protocols to ensure safety and continuity of operations.
Possesses knowledge of operational safety parameters and adherence to established guidelines.
The plant must be prepared and isolated before any intrusive maintenance procedures are carried out.
Operations encompass well line-up procedures, pipeline pigging operations, and the management of chemical injection packages.
Monitor production processes and ensure they operate efficiently, while also verifying that all readings are accurate and recorded meticulously in the PCR.
Collect and analyze samples, perform BS&W measurements, and maintain accurate records of the findings.
To maintain the continuous availability of utilities while ensuring that cooling water and steam condensate remain free from oil contamination.
Conduct primary maintenance tasks in accordance with the checklists supplied by the STOP and PSP teams.
Performing vessel isolation, draining, and entry, along with the internal and external cleaning of vessels and other production equipment, is essential. This role may involve working at elevated pipe racks and other production infrastructure as directed by STOP and PSP guidelines to ensure safety and operational compliance.
Logging data and parameters, analyzing and interpreting the collected information are essential tasks. This role involves meticulously documenting data and key parameters while ensuring accurate understanding and insightful interpretation of the findings.
Continuously maintain oil production while minimizing downtime to ensure optimal operational efficiency and consistency.
Assist the INST team with various maintenance tasks as needed.
Promptly notify STOP and PSP of any observed leaks or equipment malfunctions.
Proficient in utilizing the Permit to Work (PTW) system is essential for this role.
Proficiency in the ESD System is required, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of appropriate responses to diverse emergency scenarios such as PSD, ESD, fire, and gas alarms.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of production plant operations, with particular emphasis on safety protocols and features.

Professional Qualifications and Experience: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, business administration, or engineering, and a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a related role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in industry-standard tools and software. Prior leadership or project management experience is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory compliance and best practices in the field is required. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are necessary to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Possesses foundational understanding of chemical and/or process plant operations.
Mechanical aptitude encompassing a broad range of practical and theoretical skills is required for this role. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in operating, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical systems and components. A solid understanding of engineering principles, blueprint interpretation, and safety protocols is essential. Familiarity with tools, equipment, and diagnostic techniques is also necessary to ensure efficient and accurate troubleshooting. Additionally, the ability to follow technical manuals, perform preventive maintenance, and execute repairs with precision is critical to success in this position.
