Safely and efficiently operate diesel and petrol generators.
Oversee generator operations to confirm consistent power and reliability.
Perform regular inspections and carry out preventive maintenance tasks diligently.
Ensure fuel, oil, coolant, and battery levels are consistently checked and maintained within optimal operating ranges.
Maintain precise documentation of generator operations, fuel usage, and maintenance tasks to ensure comprehensive and compliant records.
Identify and report mechanical or electrical malfunctions without delay to ensure timely resolution and maintain operational efficiency.
Collaborate with technical staff to facilitate repairs and oversee significant maintenance initiatives.
Maintain strict adherence to established safety protocols and operational standards throughout all activities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the generator room and its adjacent areas.
Respond without delay to any power outages or equipment-related emergencies.
Requirements
A high school diploma (SSC), National Diploma (OND), or equivalent technical certification is required.
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in the operation of industrial or commercial generators is required.
Demonstrates a foundational understanding of generator maintenance procedures and the ability to diagnose operational issues effectively.
Demonstrated skill in accurately detecting and promptly escalating technical challenges for resolution.
Possesses a solid grasp of electrical and mechanical systems, including their fundamental principles and practical applications.
Possesses a keen eye for detail and prioritizes maintaining a strong safety mindset at all times.
Capable of executing tasks autonomously with minimal oversight while maintaining high productivity and accountability.
