We are in search of a seasoned Plant & Equipment Manager to spearhead our Plant & Equipment Business Unit and manage an extensive fleet of heavy construction machinery, which supports significant road and civil infrastructure projects.
This role encompasses strategic leadership, with complete accountability for fleet operations, asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, equipment allocation, workshop efficiency, cost reduction initiatives, and the overall profitability of the business unit.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing fleet availability, optimizing asset utilization, boosting maintenance reliability, overseeing equipment investments, and fostering leadership across workshop and field operations to uphold effective project delivery and operational excellence.
The position necessitates a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is preferred. The role requires adherence to strict deadlines and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent Higher National Diploma (HND) in a pertinent field is required.
CORE registration is a compulsory requirement for this position.

Accomplished professionals with a proven track record of overseeing extensive equipment fleets in the realms of road construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure development are encouraged to apply.
