A seasoned Plant & Equipment Manager is required to spearhead our Plant & Equipment Business Unit, responsible for the strategic oversight of an extensive fleet of heavy construction machinery that underpins our key road and civil infrastructure initiatives.
This position entails senior-level strategic leadership, overseeing complete accountability for fleet operations, asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, equipment deployment, workshop efficiency, cost optimization, and the overall profitability of the business unit.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing fleet availability, optimizing asset utilization, strengthening maintenance reliability, overseeing equipment investments, and leading both workshop and field operations to guarantee successful project execution and operational efficiency.
The position calls for a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, along with proficiency in project management software and advanced Excel skills. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, and candidates must demonstrate strong analytical abilities, exceptional organizational talents, and the capacity to work independently under tight deadlines. Familiarity with industry-specific tools and compliance regulations is also essential.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, such as a Higher National Diploma (HND), is required.
CORE registration constitutes a mandatory requirement for this position. Prospective candidates must possess valid CORE certification to be considered for employment.
