The Pharmacy Technician assists the licensed Pharmacist by executing technical and administrative duties essential to the provision of safe and efficient pharmacy services.

Accurately prepare, count, label, and package prescription medications for verification by the Pharmacist.
Maintain thorough and precise patient records while accurately processing prescriptions via the pharmacy’s computerized systems.
Oversee inventory levels, track expiration dates, and ensure the correct storage of pharmaceuticals, wellness products, and cosmetics.
Provide support in managing inventory processes, including the procurement, receipt, and organization of supplies, to facilitate an efficient and uninterrupted supply chain within the pharmacy.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing non-clinical inquiries and efficiently executing point-of-sale transactions.
Contribute to the pharmacy’s online presence and community engagement initiatives by managing social media channels as needed.
Ensure the work environment remains consistently clean, well-organized, and fully compliant with all healthcare regulations and established standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with at least three years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential, as is the capability to work under pressure. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is required, and prior leadership experience is highly valued. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CHT) credential or an accredited Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Studies is required.
A valid registration or license issued by the relevant regulatory authority, such as the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria, is required.
Requires demonstrated expertise in performing the duties of a Pharmacy Technician within a community or retail pharmacy environment.
Demonstrates a robust understanding of pharmaceutical terminology, mathematical computations, and established dispensing procedures.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, deliver outstanding customer service, and build strong interpersonal relationships.
A demonstrated commitment to accuracy, meticulousness, and autonomous performance within a defined organizational structure is required.
Proficiency in retail pharmacy software, wellness products, and cosmetics is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in digital tools and familiarity with social media platforms are advantageous qualifications for this role.
