The OOH Sales Executive—a role preferably held by a female candidate to support gender diversity—is tasked with accelerating revenue growth by identifying, cultivating, and finalizing sales opportunities within billboard advertising, LED displays, transit media, and additional out-of-home formats. This position encompasses prospecting new clients, maintaining and expanding existing accounts, crafting tailored proposals, negotiating agreements, and overseeing campaign delivery to meet or exceed client specifications. Successful applicants must possess in-depth familiarity with the Nigerian advertising ecosystem, established agency collaborations, and direct brand marketing frameworks.

Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing workflows, enhancing productivity, and fostering innovation across teams. Monitor progress through data analysis, reporting, and proactive problem-solving to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. Serve as a liaison between leadership, stakeholders, and employees to align efforts with company goals and maintain transparent communication. Act as a mentor to junior staff, providing guidance, training, and support to cultivate a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Proactively generate and cultivate relationships with potential clients across diverse sectors such as brands, agencies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), political campaigns, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Establish and sustain a robust pipeline of prospective advertisers.

Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with advertising agencies and brand managers to ensure sustained collaboration and mutual success.

Develop comprehensive media proposals, engage in strategic rate negotiations, and finalize agreements to secure contracts.

Collaborate closely with the operations team to coordinate site bookings and ensure seamless campaign execution.

Monitor campaign effectiveness and deliver verification of posting and execution.

Monitor revenue performance relative to established targets and generate weekly sales reports to ensure accurate tracking and analysis.

Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor actions and deliver comprehensive market intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate at least three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail are required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is expected. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards is crucial. Prior leadership or project management experience is highly advantageous.

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, mass communication, or a closely related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in advertising sales, media sales, or out-of-home (OOH) marketing, with a strong preference for expertise within the Nigerian market.

A well-established network encompassing advertising agencies and brand marketing teams is essential.

Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or surpass established sales objectives.

Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation and presentation, coupled with the ability to articulate ideas persuasively and engage stakeholders effectively.

Proficiency in the regulatory frameworks governing outdoor advertising in Nigeria, including guidelines set forth by the Lagos State Advertising Agency (LASSA), the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APRON), and relevant state-level authorities, is required.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is essential for this role.
