The Packing Plant Operator oversees the seamless and productive functioning of machinery and processes within the cement packing facility. This position ensures cement is accurately packed, measured, and shipped in alignment with production goals, all while upholding stringent safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.

Overseeing a broad spectrum of duties and responsibilities, this role encompasses a variety of critical tasks essential to the position. The individual will be responsible for managing and executing key functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and maintaining high standards of performance. Duties include collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions, and implementing processes to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the position requires proactive problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

To successfully meet the packing target, which is set at 750 metric tons of cement per twelve-hour shift, diligent effort and efficient execution are required.

At the commencement of each shift, provide a briefing to the Shift Manager to obtain detailed directives or assigned tasks for the shift.

Ensure seamless transitions between shifts by conducting thorough and accurate handover procedures, thereby maintaining uninterrupted operational continuity.

Operate packing plant equipment, including packers and autoloaders, with a high level of efficiency, ideally utilizing automatic (auto) mode for optimized performance.

Regularly verify that cement bags meet the 50 kg specification, promptly escalating any discrepancies to the Supervisor for immediate attention.

Ensure rejected or damaged (busted) bags are organized and labeled accurately in assigned areas to mitigate contamination risks and prevent loss.

To ensure operational continuity, the packing area must be staffed at all times; workers are prohibited from leaving their workstations unattended during active operations.

Before departing the work area for any reason, ensure you obtain the necessary approval.

Maintain a tidy and hazard-free workspace by promptly removing defective materials and upholding rigorous housekeeping standards.

Perform regular equipment inspections and promptly notify the Shift Supervisor or Maintenance team of any mechanical or process-related malfunctions.

Ensure seamless communication and a smooth transition of duties to the incoming operator upon completion of the shift.

You must comply with all organizational policies and safety protocols, such as those outlined in the ISO Management Systems, which encompass Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSA).

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in project management, demonstrating exceptional organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience, along with a strong background in [specific industry or field]. Proficiency in [relevant software/tools] is essential, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards is required.
