We are looking for a highly intelligent, detail-oriented, and driven young professional to fill the role of Executive Office Analyst. This position offers a rigorous, fast-paced apprenticeship aimed at cultivating the next generation of leadership talent. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will deliver essential analytical and operational assistance across consulting engagements, investment ventures, board duties, and high-level strategic projects.

This position diverges from conventional administrative functions, seeking an individual who operates as an energetic “force multiplier,” adept at overseeing dynamic operational processes while delivering impactful research and strategic guidance.

Oversee a wide range of critical duties, including managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance, while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous growth. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align departmental goals with broader company strategies, ensuring seamless integration and execution of long-term plans. Additionally, oversee budget management, resource allocation, and financial forecasting to maintain fiscal responsibility and sustainability.

As a vital component of our organization, this role will entail conducting strategic analysis and research, which comprises 40% of your responsibilities. This involves examining market trends, evaluating competitive landscapes, and synthesizing data to inform key business decisions. The incumbent will be expected to deliver comprehensive insights that drive strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Perform comprehensive research on markets, sectors, regulatory frameworks, and policies within emerging economies.

Prepare compelling briefing notes, executive summaries, and in-depth research reports designed to deliver significant impact.

Identify and pursue funding opportunities, grants, and partnership prospects to enhance business growth.

Collect, evaluate, and integrate data to enhance the quality of ongoing consulting projects and deliverables.

Handles executive office administration, overseeing 25% of operational responsibilities to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency within the executive suite.

Oversee the CEO’s calendar, organize strategic priorities, and monitor action items to ensure timely completion.

Prepare formal correspondence, executive correspondence, and communications intended for high-level audiences.

Maintain meticulously structured digital filing systems and project documentation while ensuring the highest level of confidentiality.

Responsible for project coordination activities, accounting for 20% of the role’s responsibilities, the incumbent will oversee project timelines, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure deliverables are met efficiently and on schedule. This includes managing stakeholder communications, tracking progress against milestones, and resolving any impediments that may arise to maintain project momentum. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this capacity.

Monitor project milestones, oversee work plans, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Proactively manage and maintain ongoing communications with clients, independent consultants, and institutional partners to ensure timely follow-ups.

Provide assistance in executing Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) initiatives and delivering stakeholder reports.

The role involves providing presentation and communication assistance, which accounts for 15% of the position’s responsibilities. This includes preparing and refining materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in all internal and external communications. Effective collaboration with stakeholders is essential to tailor presentations and messages that align with organizational goals and audience needs. Person Specification

A Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Upper (2:1) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, International Relations, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics is required.

Seeking candidates with up to two years of postings experience. A background in professional services through internships is highly beneficial.

Impeccable command of written and spoken English is required, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and a keen analytical mindset supported by meticulous attention to detail.

Experience with AI productivity tools, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Claude, is highly preferred. Additionally, candidates should possess foundational data analysis or proposal writing abilities. Familiarity with Canva is also advantageous.
