Summary

We are in search of a proactive and meticulous Occupational Health Intern to assist our Occupational Health team in enhancing workplace health, safety, and overall employee well-being.

The ideal candidate will acquire practical experience in occupational health protocols, employee wellness programs, workplace safety assessments, and health administrative duties.

The role encompasses a comprehensive range of duties, including the management of daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Key tasks involve overseeing team performance, fostering collaboration, and implementing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Additionally, the position requires maintaining accurate records, adhering to compliance standards, and addressing any operational challenges promptly. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are essential to succeed in this capacity.

Support the development and execution of occupational health and workplace safety initiatives.

Facilitate employee health evaluations and ongoing medical monitoring initiatives.

Ensure accurate maintenance and proper documentation of occupational health records.

Support the identification and documentation of workplace hazards and associated risks.

Engage actively in programs and activities focused on promoting health and enhancing wellness within the community or organization.

Facilitate the preparation and submission of incident and injury reports in accordance with established protocols.

Facilitate occupational health training initiatives and awareness campaigns to ensure workforce comprehension and adherence to safety protocols.

Maintain strict adherence to established workplace health and safety protocols to mitigate risks and ensure a secure environment for all employees.

Supply administrative assistance to the Occupational Health team.

Execute any additional duties as directed by management to support ongoing operations and objectives.

Seeking a highly organized individual with exceptional attention to detail and outstanding communication skills to oversee office operations. The ideal candidate must possess strong problem-solving abilities and be proficient in managing multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with scheduling software and data entry is essential, along with the capability to maintain accurate records. A minimum of three years in an administrative role is required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory. Additionally, the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members is crucial for this position.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, finance, accounting, or a related discipline is required, with preference given to candidates holding an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA). Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education in some cases. Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and software applications (e.g., Excel, ERP systems) is essential, and familiarity with industry-specific tools or platforms is advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical for success in this role.
