This role occasionally involves direct hardware interaction, server rack installations, and on-site physical assistance within our facility infrastructure, which is why we are seeking a Male Support Specialist to complement our existing team composition.
What You Will Do
Monitor the network infrastructure continuously using monitoring tools to oversee system availability, alert notifications, and performance indicators.
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff and remote clients is among the primary responsibilities of this position, providing essential first-line support.
Incident management responsibilities include documenting system alerts, escalating significant network errors to senior engineering staff, and monitoring issues through to their resolution.
System Maintenance: Provide support for workstation setup, cable crimping, patch panel installation, and router/switch configuration tasks.
Maintain precise records of daily network performance evaluations and IT asset documentation to ensure comprehensive tracking and accountability.
What We Are Looking For
A National Youth Service Corps (NYC) member currently deployed in Nigeria is pursuing a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) within IKEA or its surrounding areas.
A degree or academic qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a closely aligned technical discipline is required.
