bout You and The Role

Lipline’s autonomous drone system, capable of long-range operation, is already facilitating the delivery of millions of medical products throughout Africa.

We are actively growing our operations in Nigeria and are in search of a Construction and Deployments Lead to manage all nationwide construction and deployment initiatives.

This senior position oversees the establishment of Lipline distribution centers nationwide, spearheading in-country teams to ensure flawless execution from initial site acquisition and permitting through construction, vendor coordination, and operational transition.

You will act as the primary liaison between local teams and global stakeholders in Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, and Partnerships, ensuring all launches comply with Lipline’s global benchmarks while aligning with Nigeria’s specific regulatory and operational requirements.

What You’ll Do

Develop and implement deployment strategies and execute initiatives for all new Lipline distribution centers across Nigeria.

Spearhead collaborative efforts across Nigeria-based teams and international stakeholders to facilitate smooth, on-time deployments that consistently fulfill partner requirements.

Collaborate with Nigerian government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals while fostering productive working relationships.

Identify and secure locations that fulfill Lipline’s technical, operational, and business criteria.

Develop and oversee a robust network of Nigerian suppliers and contractors, prioritizing cost-effectiveness, superior quality, and consistent reliability in site operations.

Oversee domestic budgets, schedules, and resource allocation while optimizing tradeoffs to ensure a balance between expediency, cost efficiency, and sustainable operational performance.

Lead the recruitment, growth, and management of a team of deployment project managers.

Capture and integrate lessons learned to ensure ongoing enhancement of Lipline’s global deployment playbook.

Deliver insightful, data-backed reports to leadership that clearly communicate progress, risks, and overall performance.

What You’ll Bring

With a minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in construction, engineering, or program management—of which no less than three have been in a leadership capacity—you will bring a proven track record of driving projects to successful completion.

Demonstrated expertise in executing large-scale, technically intricate projects throughout Nigeria, encompassing the entire project lifecycle from initial concept through to final completion.

Experienced professionals with a proven track record in navigating Nigerian regulatory frameworks, securing permits, and engaging with local contractor networks will be prioritized for this role.

Demonstrates a proven track record in leading and cultivating high-performing project teams within local contexts.

Exceptional proficiency in project management and organizational capabilities, demonstrated by the aptitude to prioritize tasks effectively and make strategic tradeoffs in high-pressure scenarios.

Demonstrated proficiency in communication and stakeholder management, with the capacity to serve as an effective representative for Lipline in engagements with partners, contractors, and government officials.

A systems-oriented mindset, coupled with the capacity to develop scalable processes tailored to local conditions.

Thriving in dynamic and unpredictable settings demands a strong foundation built on perseverance, flexibility, and the capacity to rebound from challenges.

Capable of and committed to undertaking domestic travel across Nigeria, amounting to over 50% of the role’s requirements.
