Job Summary
To establish a dependable and high-performance reporting framework, uphold the accuracy and validity of all submissions to Regulatory Authorities. Design and implement structured processes for each reporting obligation, cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with pertinent authorities, and ensure all returns are filed punctually. Additionally, develop and maintain the SWIFT Sanctions Screening platform, enforce internal Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT), and Combating Proliferation Financing (CPF) policies, procedures, and processes, as well as applicable regulations and laws. Furthermore, conduct training sessions to raise awareness among all staff regarding AML/CFT/CPF requirements.
This role is tasked with upholding adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, proactively managing financial crime and compliance risks, and minimizing the likelihood of regulatory penalties, fines, or sanctions through the strict enforcement of compliance protocols.

To safeguard the Bank from involvement in illicit activities such as fund laundering, terrorist financing, or the proliferation of weapons, compliance monitoring must be diligently conducted.
Proactively identifies potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks, then designs and implements corrective action plans to effectively resolve issues.
The bank’s compliance status is regularly assessed and presented through management information system reports.
To assess potential exposures and identify risk indicators, evaluate emerging and external events systematically by employing a risk-informed methodology.
Design and implement robust compliance frameworks dedicated to identifying, evaluating, assessing, monitoring, managing, and mitigating risks associated with financial crime and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and organizational standards.
Facilitate the institutionalization of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT), Counter-Proliferation Financing (CPF), and Regulatory Compliance through independent assessments, evaluations, and issue resolution.
Foster a robust compliance culture across all employees and relevant stakeholders by effectively communicating the Bank’s compliance risk exposures and strategies to mitigate them, primarily through comprehensive training and awareness initiatives.
Providing advisory services to the board, senior management, and staff regarding compliance and corporate governance matters.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all reporting activities, ensuring processes and procedures are current and compliant with regulatory standards and international best practices.
Before submitting all reports to the appropriate authorities, verify their completeness and accuracy to maintain strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and processes related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT), and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, as well as all applicable regulations and laws.
Review and analyze the names flagged within the Sanction Screening Application, and escalate any concerns to the appropriate parties while assessing the potential necessity for filing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
Maintains comprehensive records of all returns submitted as well as any suspicious transactions that are escalated for further review.
Develop and distribute educational materials focused on the SWIFT Screening Application to enhance staff awareness and understanding of its functionalities.
Provide support to the Chief Compliance Officer as a secondary resource, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
