Consistently manufacture premium-quality poultry feed to meet established standards and specifications.
Operate and maintain crushers, grinders, and mixers to process grains and ingredients in strict accordance with specified formulas.
Regularly conduct assessments to verify feed consistency, nutrient composition, and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with stringent farm protocols.
Responsibilities include receiving and storing bulk bagged commodities such as corn and soy, overseeing the operation of micro-ingredient hoppers, and maintaining appropriate storage conditions to prevent contamination.
Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance, including greasing bearings, examining gearboxes, and inspecting belts to reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns.
Ensure compliance with biosecurity protocols, health regulations, and safety standards to uphold a pristine mill environment.
Maintain precise daily records of production volumes, ingredient consumption, and equipment functionality.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential, along with a minimum of five years of experience in a comparable role. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is crucial, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required. Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools is mandatory, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment is also important.
A minimum qualification of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent vocational training in feed production, mechanics, or a closely related discipline is required.
Upon returning to duty, all employees will undergo comprehensive training to ensure readiness and alignment with current protocols.
