What you will do
Design and build innovative web applications by leveraging customized solutions, open-source technologies, and readily available components to meet diverse project requirements.
Oversee the ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing web applications as well as all internal integrated systems.
Implement new features and modifications to current applications as requested, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
Contribute to the continuous enhancement of applications designed to fulfill our customers’ requirements.
Develop and deploy user-focused templates, databases, and interfaces, prioritizing intuitive functionality and seamless usability.
Create dynamic web interfaces powered by databases to facilitate instantaneous, real-time information dissemination.
Design and implement external web portals that enable users to seamlessly input and retrieve precise data.
What you bring
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a closely related field is required for this position.
Experience with PHP development spanning a minimum of three years is required for this role.
Preferred proficiency includes recent iterations of PHP (version 7.x or higher).
Experienced professionals should possess proficiency in configuring and utilizing relational databases, specifically MySQL versions 5.6 or newer.
We specialize in crafting interactive and visually compelling front-end interfaces by leveraging HTML, CSS (including SCSS, SASS, or Fewer preprocessors), as well as client-side JavaScript and jQuery to deliver responsive, user-centric web applications.
Proficiency in utilizing Git for version control is required, along with hands-on experience in its implementation.
Proficiency in utilizing and developing RESTful APIs is required, with prior experience in crafting or documenting such interfaces considered advantageous.
Proficiency with Regis or another NoSQL key-value database would be considered advantageous.
Server and site performance enhancement expertise is highly advantageous.
A highly proficient full-stack developer is preferred, though the role also entails providing mentorship in areas where additional support is required.

Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with MVC principles, ensuring clean separation of concerns, efficient routing, and optimized database interactions within this or a comparable framework.
Proficiency in designing and deploying Single Page Applications is essential, with hands-on experience in front-end frameworks such as Cans, Vue, Aurelia, or AngularJS being required.
Proficiency in implementing and managing queuing mechanisms or worker processes within distributed workload architectures constitutes an advantageous qualification, particularly with tools such as Beanstalk, RabbitMQ, Iron.io, or Amazon SQS.
Proficiency in utilizing build pipeline tools such as Composer, NPM, Gulp, Grunt, or equivalent solutions is required.
Candidates should possess practical expertise in WordPress development, including proficiency with hooks, theming, and plugin integration, to effectively manage and extend website functionality.
Investigate and resolve technical issues pertaining to web servers, databases, security protocols, network infrastructure, and web technologies.
Customize, assemble, deploy, set up, oversee, and troubleshoot server instances, with a particular emphasis on NGINX.
Reporting, maintenance, and automated testing solutions are developed and managed using PHP, including frameworks such as PHPUnit.
Develop and refine internal tools specifically for website operations, while also addressing hardware and software-related challenges.
Proven expertise in providing customer and end-user support for digital products, coupled with a strong background in web design, graphic design, and usability optimization.
