The Lead Consultant Pathologist will lead and oversee all diagnostic pathology services at ACE, ensuring precise and timely diagnoses by evaluating laboratory specimens such as tissue samples, blood, and bodily fluids to uphold patient-centered care of the highest quality. Additionally, the role involves supervising pathologists and laboratory personnel, maintaining compliance with established quality standards, and fostering advancements in diagnostic techniques.
Oversee strategic account management functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client expectations. Develop and nurture high-value client relationships through proactive engagement and tailored solutions. Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance service delivery. Monitor key performance indicators to assess account health and implement corrective actions as needed. Prepare comprehensive reports on account performance, market trends, and competitive insights for senior leadership. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Deliver specialized pathology services encompassing histopathology, cytopathologic, and molecular pathology with expert precision and thorough analysis.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in a leadership or senior capacity. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, or C++, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are also critical. Familiarity with agile methodologies, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
A recognized institution must award a medical degree, such as an MBBS or its equivalent.
Board certification in Pathology along with a valid medical license to practice in Nigeria are essential requirements for this role.
Postdoctorate-level education in pathology or a closely aligned field is strongly preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of post-fellowship experience in diagnostic pathology is required, with substantial exposure to subspecialty areas.
Proficiency in histopathology, cytopathologic, and molecular pathology is required.
Extensive expertise in laboratory quality management systems and adherence to regulatory standards is required.
Experts must demonstrate mastery of cutting-edge diagnostic technologies and laboratory information systems.
