Job Purpose

The Lead Consultant Pathologist will provide expert leadership and oversight for all diagnostic pathology services at ACE, ensuring precise and prompt diagnosis by evaluating laboratory specimens, such as tissue samples, blood, and other bodily fluids, to support high-quality, patient-focused care. Additionally, the role involves supervising pathologists and laboratory personnel, maintaining adherence to quality standards, and fostering advancements in diagnostic techniques.

Oversee critical client relationships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable value. Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, facilitating seamless communication and expediting issue resolution. Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess account health, proactively addressing risks or deviations from targets. Collaborate with cross-functional departments—including sales, marketing, and operations—to align resources and enhance service delivery. Prepare and present detailed reports on account performance, progress, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership. Maintain a deep understanding of client industries, competitive landscapes, and market trends to anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions. Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, compliance standards, and service-level agreements (SLAs) while fostering long-term partnerships built on trust and transparency.

Deliver specialized pathology services encompassing histopathology, cytopathologic, and molecular pathology.

Guarantee the prompt delivery of precise and thorough diagnostic reports to enhance patient care outcomes.

Partner with oncologists, surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare specialists to facilitate comprehensive, multidisciplinary care planning.

Develop and uphold best practices and standard operating procedures within the pathology department to ensure consistency and quality in all operations.

Quality Assurance and Compliance professionals ensure adherence to regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices to mitigate risks and uphold operational integrity. Their responsibilities encompass conducting systematic audits, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance with applicable laws and organizational guidelines. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required for consideration.
