Responsibilties

Directly oversee and manage daily plant operations throughout the designated shift to ensure seamless and efficient functionality.

Ensure the efficient operation of all treatment processes, including filtration, chemical dosing, and pumping.

Monitor plant equipment, systems, and process parameters to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency. Verify that all machinery and associated systems are functioning within specified parameters while identifying any deviations that may require corrective action.

Ensure consistent achievement of required production while upholding operational efficiency standards.

Guarantee that treated water consistently complies with all applicable regulatory requirements and the specified quality standards outlined in the project scope.

Monitor and evaluate water quality parameters, including pH levels, turbidity, chlorine residual, total dissolved solids (TDS), and conductivity.

Review and modify chemical dosing and operational parameters in response to laboratory findings and plant monitoring data.

Collaborate consistently with laboratory staff to ensure timely execution of tests and accurate reporting of results.

Provide day-to-day direction, mentorship, and oversight to plant operators and technicians during their shifts.

Responsible for delegating tasks and overseeing staff productivity to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

Maintain strict compliance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and reliable execution of operational tasks.

Deliver hands-on assistance and expert technical direction to ensure operational efficiency and problem resolution.

Investigate operational irregularities and technical equipment failures to determine their underlying causes and assess their impact on system performance.

Implement prompt corrective measures to mitigate any potential downtime effectively.

Collaborate efficiently with maintenance teams to address equipment failures and conduct scheduled preventive maintenance operations.

Document all deficiencies and the corrective measures implemented, ensuring comprehensive records are maintained and promptly reported.

Maintain adherence to established health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and protocols.

Ensure the consistent and proper utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.

Ensure the secure handling, proper storage, and correct use of chemicals at all times.

Document all safety incidents and facilitate the implementation of appropriate corrective actions to address identified issues.

Ensure all shift logs, and operational records are maintained with precision and accuracy.

Track and document production metrics, chemical usage levels, equipment operational status, and any safety or operational incidents.

Compiling detailed shift reports and ensuring critical information is clearly conveyed during the transition between shifts.

Ensure documentation is maintained in compliance with audit standards and regulatory obligations.

Collaborate closely with maintenance, laboratory, and management teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication across departments.

Significant operational or safety concerns should be promptly communicated to senior management for immediate attention and resolution.

Perform plant audits and inspections as needed to ensure operational compliance and safety standards.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in the relevant field, possessing a minimum of [X] years of industry experience. Demonstrates a strong ability to oversee and regulate plant operational parameters, along with a solid grasp of water quality benchmarks and laboratory parameters.

Proven experience in shift-based plant operations and leadership roles is essential.

Proficiency in resolving process-related issues and managing emergencies through practical application is essential.

Proficient understanding of SCADA and PLC systems is required.

Proficiency in plant safety protocols and chemical handling procedures is essential.
