Responsible for managing all inbound logistics, inventory storage, order picking, packing, order dispatch, and return processing activities in strict accordance with established company policies and internal control standards.
Enforce the FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methodologies, alongside conducting cycle counts, to uphold the precision of inventory valuations.
Oversee weekly, monthly, and unannounced physical inventory counts to guarantee prompt and precise reporting of stock levels.
Oversee the daily reconciliation of cycle counts and conduct comprehensive stock takes, followed by detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies, which are then promptly reported to the operation manager.
Documentation and transaction processing responsibilities encompass the meticulous recording and management of financial activities, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols. This role requires proficiency in maintaining detailed logs, processing transactions efficiently, and verifying data integrity to support organizational compliance and decision-making processes.
Oversee the preparation and issuance of Goods Received Notes (GRNs), document and report any discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory adjustments in accordance with established approval protocols.
Maintain all required logs, including access, goods receipt, dispatch, maintenance, and cycle count records, to uphold comprehensive audit trails.
Maintain accurate records of damaged, expired, and slow-moving inventory to facilitate appropriate financial allocations.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust internal control systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, while identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through systematic process reviews and innovative solutions. Overseeing risk assessments to mitigate potential vulnerabilities, documenting control procedures, and leading cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with strategic objectives. Requires a minimum of three to five years of progressive experience in warehouse or inventory management roles, including at least two years in a supervisory or leadership position within Nigeria.
Highly desirable experience includes prior work in luxury retail or warehouses specializing in high-value goods, particularly cosmetics.
