Description
A highly organized and proactive Property Manager is required to administer the Company’s property portfolio and foster strong, collaborative relationships with landlords, property owners, and tenants.
The successful applicant should possess a valid legal qualification with extensive expertise in property management, demonstrating proficiency in handling tenancy disputes, resolving property-related legal challenges, and fostering productive stakeholder relationships.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing core operational, strategic, and administrative functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high-performance standards. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance metrics to optimize efficiency, productivity, and compliance. Serve as a primary liaison between senior management, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and project execution. Analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Lead initiatives aimed at process improvement, innovation, and continuous enhancement of systems and workflows. Allocate resources effectively, balancing priorities while adhering to budgetary constraints and organizational goals.
Oversee interactions between property owners, landlords, and tenants, representing property owners in the oversight and management of their assigned properties.
Skilled professionals will be responsible for securing qualified tenants by implementing strategic property marketing initiatives, leveraging referral networks, and utilizing approved recruitment channels to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
Perform comprehensive tenant evaluations, including screening applicants, verifying guarantor credentials, and assessing references to ensure qualified and reliable residents.
Prepare, review, and oversee tenancy agreements, lease documents, and all pertinent property-related legal paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Review legal matters concerning properties and projects, offering strategic counsel to minimize potential legal exposures.
Guarantee adherence to all relevant property laws, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
Collaborate with facility managers and external service providers to uphold the upkeep of managed properties.
Address tenant complaints and disputes with diligence and professionalism, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining courteous and effective communication throughout the process.
Perform systematic evaluations of both occupied and unoccupied properties on a regular basis.
Formulate and implement occupancy policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational consistency.
Compile regular reports detailing property performance metrics, tenancy status updates, occupancy rates, and departmental operations to ensure comprehensive oversight and strategic decision-making.
Prepare comprehensive and timely reports for senior leadership regarding the status of all properties overseen by the company.
Partner with various departments to streamline service delivery and consistently meet organizational objectives.
Requirements
Holders of an LL.B degree and recognized as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (BL) are required.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in Property Management, Real Estate, or Property Law is required.
Proficient in tenancy regulations, lease management, and property-related documentation.
Proven expertise in negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management is essential.
Proven expertise in crafting well-structured reports and conducting thorough data analysis.
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications is required.
Capable of handling numerous tasks simultaneously and performing duties with limited oversight.
