Design and execute monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) frameworks, tools, and processes to ensure systematic tracking, assessment, and continuous improvement of program outcomes.
Conduct data collection, analysis, and interpretation to facilitate informed, evidence-based decision-making processes.
Perform regular evaluations and appraisals to assess program effectiveness and outcomes.
Work collaboratively with program teams to design performance indicators, construct results frameworks and logical frameworks, and devise comprehensive data collection plans.
Craft clear, accurate, and timely reports, dashboards, and presentations—both internal and external—that effectively showcase program milestones, emerging trends, and valuable insights gained through ongoing evaluation.
Conduct instructional sessions while assisting in the preparation and distribution of best practices, success narratives, and key insights gained from experiences.
Develop staff and partner capabilities in monitoring tools, data collection methodologies, data quality assurance, and learning approaches to enhance overall performance and impact.
Perform comprehensive evaluations of current monitoring and evaluation frameworks and propose enhancements as needed.
Develop MEAL plans, define relevant indicators, establish targets, and design reporting frameworks to support the proposal development process.
Signed representatives will engage with stakeholders, participate in learning forums, and contribute to relevant technical networks on behalf of the organization, as required.
Execute additional duties as directed by the supervisor as needed.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Economics, Project Management, or a comparable discipline is required.
A minimum of three years of professional experience is required in monitoring, evaluation, learning, research, data management, or program quality within NGOs, development organizations, research institutions, or social impact-focused entities.
Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation methodologies, results-based management, logical framework design, indicator formulation, and data quality assurance protocols is essential.
With a strong background in designing and deploying data collection tools, performing comprehensive data analysis, and translating findings into actionable insights to drive program enhancements, the ideal candidate will excel in this role.
Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, with expertise in designing surveys, conducting focus group discussions, performing key informant interviews, and executing outcome assessments.
Strong proficiency in analytical thinking, report development, and presentation delivery is required, with a demonstrated talent for distilling intricate insights into accessible language for varied stakeholders.
Proven expertise in facilitating proposal development, compiling donor reports, and implementing learning initiatives.

Tools & Technical Competencies: Proficiency in a variety of software applications, programming languages, and technical frameworks is essential. Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is a key requirement.
