We require a meticulous Accountant to oversee routine accounting functions, compile financial statements, and assist leadership in making well-informed decisions.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment. Develop, implement, and monitor initiatives that drive performance, efficiency, and growth across key business functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust processes that support organizational objectives. Provide leadership in identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement while mitigating risks. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies to uphold accountability and integrity. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration to enhance team productivity and stakeholder satisfaction.

Compile comprehensive financial reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure accurate and timely financial data analysis and documentation.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive accounting records and ledgers in accordance with established standards and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Bank reconciliation and cash management involve ensuring the accuracy of financial records by comparing internal accounting data with external bank statements, identifying discrepancies, and resolving any inconsistencies. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software to track and reconcile transactions efficiently. Responsibilities include verifying deposit and withdrawal records, investigating outstanding checks or deposits in transit, and updating cash flow records to reflect accurate financial positions. Additionally, the position may entail monitoring cash balances, forecasting liquidity needs, and preparing reports to support financial decision-making. Candidates should possess a degree in accounting or finance, relevant certifications (e.g., CPA or CMA), and prior experience in financial reconciliation or treasury operations.

Guarantee adherence to all applicable tax obligations and regulatory mandates to maintain organizational integrity and legal conformity.

Accurately process supplier invoices and payments to ensure timely financial transactions and maintain vendor relationships.

Responsibilities include reconciling vendor statements to ensure accuracy and promptly resolving any discrepancies that arise.

Responsible for ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation are maintained in accordance with established accounting standards and company policies.

Prepare financial documentation, including payment schedules and comprehensive reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established deadlines.

Oversee expenditures to verify adherence to established organizational guidelines and financial protocols.

Provide support in the execution of monthly financial closing procedures and activities.

Collaborate with external suppliers and relevant internal teams to facilitate and resolve payment-related matters.

Requirements

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline, such as an HND or B.Sc., is required.

A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is required.

Expertise in utilizing Excel and accounting software is required.

Possessing an ICAN qualification would be considered a significant benefit in this position.

Individuals must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational capabilities.

Demonstrated proficiency in clear and effective communication, along with a strong aptitude for resolving challenges efficiently, is essential.

Compensation for this role includes a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

The position offers a fixed monthly salary of N230,000.
