Job Summary
As a Cybersecurity Expert, your primary responsibility will involve fortifying the organization’s security posture across its infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, access management, incident response, vendor risk, and compliance frameworks, all while supporting the secure expansion of the business.
Responsibilities
Design and deploy comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, risk management frameworks, and security controls throughout the organization to safeguard digital assets and mitigate potential threats.
Oversee cloud, infrastructure, and identity security initiatives, encompassing AWS environments, IAM configurations, MFA implementations, access governance frameworks, and privileged access management protocols.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to advance secure software development methodologies, oversee vulnerability management processes, and spearhead application security programs.
Direct and oversee security incident response efforts, conduct ongoing monitoring of security systems, investigate potential threats and breaches, and develop comprehensive business continuity plans to ensure organizational resilience.
Support vendor risk evaluations, ensure compliance obligations are met, conduct security audits, and facilitate governance programs throughout the organization.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a minimum of five years of expertise in cybersecurity, cloud security, security engineering, or application security, ideally gained within fintech, banking, payments, lending, crypto, or other regulated sectors.
Proficiency in AWS security frameworks, including IAM, SSO, MFA, vulnerability management, network security, encryption, API security, and incident response, is essential.
With hands-on expertise in deploying security controls, implementing robust security monitoring solutions, and adhering to secure software development methodologies within live production environments, you possess a proven track record of enhancing system resilience and safeguarding digital assets.
