Job Summary
We are in search of a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to develop, deploy, and oversee highly scalable cloud infrastructure, streamline and automate deployment workflows, and enhance overall system reliability and performance.
The preferred applicant must demonstrate advanced proficiency in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipeline implementation, infrastructure automation, and adherence to robust security protocols.
Oversee and execute the primary duties and tasks outlined for the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and performance standards. Implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, maintain compliance with industry regulations, and foster a productive work environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals, analyze workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Monitor progress through established metrics, address challenges proactively, and ensure adherence to deadlines while upholding quality benchmarks. Serve as a resource for team members, offering guidance, mentorship, and support to optimize individual and collective performance.
Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and robust security protocols.
Design and refine CI/CD pipelines along with Develops workflows to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability.
Automate the deployment and configuration of infrastructure resources through the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable technologies to ensure scalable, repeatable, and efficient provisioning processes.
Oversee cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, robust security measures, and consistent reliability, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues to maintain seamless operations.
Oversee containerized environments through the implementation of Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
Design and deploy robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks, alongside comprehensive network security measures, robust encryption protocols, and stringent access controls to safeguard organizational assets and data integrity.
Provide assistance in managing incident response initiatives, conducting thorough risk evaluations, and executing comprehensive security audits to ensure robust protection of organizational assets.
Provide guidance and support to junior engineers while working closely with diverse cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and shared objectives.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is required for this position.
We are seeking candidates with at least seven years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, or DevOps environments.
Proficiency in practical application with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments is required.
Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation is required.
Proficiency in security frameworks, including NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001, is required.
Skilled in Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting is essential for this role.
Exceptional analytical abilities, adept problem-solving capabilities, and superior communication skills are essential.
