Oversee a range of critical duties including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring deliverables meet established standards. Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, allocate resources efficiently, and maintain clear communication across departments. Monitor progress through regular assessments, identify potential challenges, and proactively implement solutions to mitigate risks. Additionally, collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives, provide progress updates, and gather feedback to refine processes. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations while fostering a productive and inclusive work environment.

Spearhead the leadership and management of a team of Business Developers, driving efforts to meet and exceed merchant acquisition and retention objectives.

Drive merchant acquisition, engagement, and revenue expansion through the design and execution of strategic initiatives focused on onboarding, activation, and transaction optimization.

Foster and sustain robust partnerships with essential merchants and business collaborators.

Monitor existing merchants’ performance and engagement levels to ensure high activity and minimize turnover.

Perform in-depth market research and analysis to uncover potential avenues for enhancing and expanding merchant services.

Partner with diverse teams across Operations, Product, Risk, and Marketing to deliver an effortless merchant experience.

Monitor key performance indicators, compile detailed performance reports, and deliver strategic insights aimed at enhancing business expansion and market penetration.

Ensure adherence to established company policies, industry mandates, and operational protocols to maintain regulatory compliance and uphold organizational integrity.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a closely aligned discipline is required.

A minimum of three years of professional experience in the fintech, payments, merchant acquisition, agent banking, or FMCG field sales sectors is required.

Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the merchant value chain, point-of-sale (POS) operations, and the dynamic digital payments landscape.

Accomplished in leading sales teams and consistently surpassing revenue or acquisition goals.

Skilled in fostering clear and effective communication, leading teams with confidence, negotiating advantageous outcomes, and cultivating strong professional relationships.

Proficiency in dynamic, rapidly expanding work environments is highly beneficial.
