Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive market research, assessing scalability potential, and leading initiatives to penetrate new markets or segments. Additionally, the role demands strong project management skills to ensure seamless integration of expansion efforts while maintaining operational efficiency.
Formulate and execute strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and enhancing profitability targets.
Identify and pursue new business prospects within truck fleet management, logistics support services, vehicle maintenance agreements, leasing, and real estate investments. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Develop and nurture enduring connections with current clients as well as potential customers to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth.
Drive growth by identifying and capitalizing on cross-selling and upselling opportunities across every business unit for existing customers.
Consistently facilitate client engagement sessions to uncover potential business expansion opportunities.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) or higher national diploma (HND) in disciplines such as Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Transport Management, Estate Management, Engineering, or a closely related field, coupled with several years of applicable professional experience, is required.
An MBA or a relevant professional certification may enhance your candidacy for this role.
With a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated success in Business Development, Corporate Sales, or Commercial Management, the ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise to the role.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience within conglomerates, transportation and logistics, real estate, or heavy equipment and truck sales.
Proven success in generating revenue growth and acquiring key business accounts.
