Develop and execute strategic plans to engage with financial institutions, prioritizing initiatives that cultivate strong, mutually beneficial partnerships through effective communication and relationship management.
Administer and oversee the Oiler Group of Companies’ duties and responsibilities as an Afraid Intra-African Trade Champion.
Exercise a thorough understanding of all tools provided by Oiler Group companies through the Intra-African Trade Initiative Products and Programs.
Develop and uphold standardized documentation and consistent reporting for senior leadership and relevant stakeholders, highlighting critical concerns, resolutions, and performance metrics to ensure clarity on risks and their financial implications.
Develop, assess, and refine financial models through careful review, interpretation, and strategic contributions while providing expert advisory insights.
Provide support in the formulation of loan applications to ensure alignment with Afraid Bank’s stipulated criteria and standards.
Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and external organizations that directly influence and advance our corporate objectives and business priorities.
Comprehend and advise the company on all significant activities of pertinent financial institutions while ensuring optimal representation.
To ensure comprehensive awareness, regularly monitor the bank’s products, initiatives, and strategic choices that could influence organizational direction, while proactively engaging with senior leadership for timely updates and insights.
Collect and analyze financial data related to the bank and its associated partners.
Spearhead the execution of directives endorsed by both the Management and Board of Directors with unwavering commitment and strategic precision.
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in a similar role. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with preference given to those holding advanced degrees or professional certifications. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with current industry trends and compliance regulations is also required.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Economics, or a Finance-related field is required.
An advanced degree, specifically an MBA in a relevant discipline, is highly desirable for this role.
A decade or more of professional experience within a banking or financial institution is required.
