Main Functions
Assess and provide feedback on discipline engineering tasks, whether handled internally or by Contractors and subcontractors, to verify compliance with project specifications, corporate standards, and regulatory mandates.
Ensures the successful implementation of discipline-specific engineering and design processes in accordance with project objectives, guidelines, and established protocols.
Ensures precise and prompt information exchange among the Project Team and various Company departments concerning engineering discipline activities, advancements, and challenges. Beyond technical expertise, candidates must exhibit strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal capabilities.
Oversee and execute a range of duties and obligations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. Manage key responsibilities through organized planning, efficient coordination, and proactive problem-solving. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts with organizational objectives and drive performance outcomes. In addition to the duties and obligations assigned to Levels 1 and 2, Level 3 encompasses a broader scope of responsibilities, requiring demonstrated expertise in specialized areas, advanced problem-solving capabilities, and a heightened capacity to mentor junior team members. This role entails overseeing complex projects, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives through meticulous execution and continuous improvement. Candidates must exhibit proven leadership skills, the ability to make critical decisions under pressure, and a track record of delivering measurable results in high-stakes environments.
Oversee comprehensive control system lifecycle management initiatives, encompassing system inventory tracking, strategic obsolescence planning, spare parts management, and meticulous upgrade and replacement scheduling.
Support system maintenance and testing activities, including software upgrades, ESD assessments, both offline and online testing phases, and the coordination of operational tasks—whether during planned plant shutdowns or ongoing operations.
Assist in the development of maintenance schedules for metering systems, encompassing applications such as custody transfer, allocation, regulatory compliance, and leak detection.
Provide assistance in organizing and aligning tasks pertaining to control system cybersecurity planning and coordination.
Conduct thorough assessments of systems to ensure adherence to the company’s Industrial Control System Requirements (CSR), thereby mitigating potential cybersecurity threats.
Contribute to cross-functional alarm management initiatives by engaging in alarm rationalization, prioritization, the creation of state-based alarm strategies, and the design or modification of alarm systems.
Update, review, and expand instrument and control technical documentation and drawings, including PIDs, cause-and-effect diagrams, and control narratives.
Visit production affiliate offices and facilities to provide onsite assistance or implement new global support initiatives.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering—or another relevant engineering specialization—or equivalent professional experience is required.
Individuals must possess comprehensive expertise in discipline-specific design standards, regulatory specifications, codes, and associated safety criteria to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Proficient in assessing, analyzing, and maintaining cause-and-effect diagrams, PIDs, logic and architecture schematics, as well as control narratives.
Proficiency in selecting, implementing, and specifying hardware components according to ISA data sheets is required. This includes expertise in pressure, temperature, and level instruments, as well as control valves, shutdown valves, and fire/gas detection systems.
Skilled in gathering and interpreting data using widely adopted database and analytics software solutions, including SAP, Microsoft Excel Analytics, and Tableau.
Demonstrates exceptional capacity to manage intense workloads, navigate shifting priorities, and consistently meet stringent deadlines. Thrives in dynamic environments where adaptability and resilience are essential to maintaining high performance and productivity under pressure.
Skilled in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Fluent proficiency in English—both written and spoken—is essential, with a particular emphasis on its application in technical and business contexts.
