This position is a full-time remote opportunity for an Information Technology Sales Specialist responsible for identifying and cultivating new business prospects, with a primary emphasis on clients seeking IT talent and technology-focused staffing solutions.
Prospecting and lead generation are undertaken on a recurring basis, while discovery calls are conducted to assess prospects’ needs, followed by rigorous qualification processes. Subsequently, tailored solutions are presented to align with each client’s specific requirements.
This position encompasses overseeing the complete sales cycle, beginning with initial contact and product or service demonstrations, followed by the creation of proposals, negotiation efforts, and finalizing agreements.
The specialist will cultivate and expand existing accounts by engaging in consistent communication, conducting performance evaluations, and identifying upselling or cross-selling prospects. Effective collaboration with internal recruiting and delivery teams is crucial to ensure alignment between client expectations and candidate pipelines. Additionally, the role entails documenting sales activities within a CRM, generating periodic sales reports, and remaining informed about emerging trends in information technology, staffing, and talent solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ is essential, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are mandatory, alongside a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git, is preferred.
