Our client seeks a seasoned People & Culture Manager to lead the execution of their people strategy and cultivate an environment that promotes positivity, high performance, and organizational success.

This position will spearhead talent development strategies, foster a culture of high employee engagement, optimize organizational performance, and align people practices with the company’s strategic business goals.

Oversee the execution of core duties, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with established standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance and drive continuous improvement. Serve as a key liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration. Monitor progress regularly to identify areas for optimization and implement corrective measures as needed. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster professional growth and development. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support decision-making and compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to organizational policies, industry regulations, and best practices at all times.

Design and execute comprehensive people and culture strategies that align with and advance organizational objectives and key business priorities.

Act as a key strategic partner to senior management, offering expert guidance on workforce planning strategies, initiatives to enhance employee engagement, and approaches to organizational development.

Drive strategic talent acquisition initiatives to deliver a seamless and outstanding candidate and onboarding journey.

Foster employee engagement strategies designed to enhance collaboration, productivity, and retention among team members.

Oversee the entire performance management lifecycle, encompassing goal establishment, periodic evaluations, and the formulation of employee development strategies.

Evaluate existing skill deficiencies within the organization and design tailored learning initiatives to enhance overall employee performance and organizational productivity.

Manage employee relations initiatives and offer expert counsel on resolving disputes and addressing workplace issues to foster a positive and productive environment.

Develop and maintain compensation, benefits, and reward programs that are both competitive and strategically aligned with the organization’s goals.

Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws, internal guidelines, and regulatory mandates.

Evaluate and optimize people policies, processes, and systems to drive operational efficiency and elevate the overall employee experience.

Analyze critical people-related metrics and deliver actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making processes.

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities are necessary for success in this role. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a comparable field is required.

With a minimum of five to eight years of professional experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or Employee Experience, candidates are expected to bring a robust background to the role.

Requires a minimum of two years of demonstrated leadership in people-related initiatives or overseeing HR operations.

Demonstrates a solid grasp of employee lifecycle management and organizational development frameworks.

Proficient understanding of Nigerian labor laws and adherence to HR best practices.

Proven ability to effectively manage stakeholders, communicate with clarity, and cultivate strong professional relationships.

Demonstrated expertise in analytical thinking and problem resolution, with a proven ability to harness HR data for informed decision-making.

Proven expertise in utilizing HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications is required.

Professional credentials like CPM, SHAM, RCI, or their equivalents are highly beneficial.
